Health and genetics
A large, heavily built dog needs close veterinary follow-up. What we track throughout training:

Veterinary follow-up across the whole growth period

Full vaccination protocol, with batch and date recorded

Deworming and parasite control, with a written history

Body condition and weight, matched to the size of the dog

Dentition and bite in line with the breed standard

Microchip fitted and registered
Specific tests, such as hip radiographs or a genetic panel, are run when the vet indicates them or when the buyer asks for them, and in that case the report goes with the dog. We do not claim a test we did not run.
A note on genetics
It would be easy to write here that the Laizhou Hong’s calm is genetic and guaranteed. We will not. A study published in Science in 2022, covering more than eighteen thousand dogs, measured that breed explains roughly nine per cent of behavioural variation between individuals. Variation within a breed exceeds variation between breeds.
What the breed delivers is a better starting point, not a guarantee. The rest is individual selection, training and assessment, and that is exactly the work you are paying us for. Owning that limit is more honest, and more useful to you, than denying it.
